Amity boasts a ultra modern infrastructure and i do agree with them. From a swimming pool to golf and polo facility, you will find ample of sports and leisure options to indulge in. From world renowned restaurents chains to laundry facility.
They claim to be most hi-tech and to certain extent, they are. From smart card for every student to gain access control and to wireless broadband connectivity, everything looks hi-tech. But, everything comes at a price. Amity provides all these facilities by charging exorbitant fees for all it's courses. So, one should not be surprised to find excellent infrastructure facilities.
Amity, today, has five university campuses located in differents states in india.
1. Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh (Main Campus) http://amity.edu/Admission/del.asp

Among all these campuses only four are approved by UGC. Amity University, Lucknow campus is an off campus of Amity University, Uttar Pradesh and thus is not approved by UGC, according to which a private university cannot have its another campus within it's territory. It was somehow opened when Amity University, Noida started it's operation and due to political nexus. This is having severe consequences on career of students studying in its off campus. In 2005, the government's statutory body for approving technical programs, AICTE had revoked Amity's license to offer the post graduate course in business. In 2007, after a petition filed by Amity, the Delhi High Court directed UGC to include Amity University's name on its website and approve Amity's license. The courts additionally asked UGC to conduct inspection to find out problems in Amity University's programmes.This was done as UGC had not recognized Amity University. That year, AICTE also brought out an advisory for students to "avoid 168 unapproved colleges"; the list included Amity.

ATPC stands for Amity Technical Placement center(http://amity.edu/placement/), responsible for placement of students pursuing technical programs at Amity. It is not only responsible for placement of Amity, Noida students but also responsible for placement of students from other university campuses. Every year, during August-April, it organizes placements for its final year students pursuing technical courses.
Now, you are surprised to know that this placement process involves not only Amity, Noida students but also students from its university campuses at Lucknow, Jaipur, Manesar, Gwalior.
Surprised !!! This is the truth , which many students don't know while taking admission at other campuses of Amity.
Today, Amity is indeed a big brand name but don't go by its brand name. Its just fake and earned by numerous advertisements at different levels and false publicity. Do research at ground level and you will know the truth.
ATPC provides all placement information at its official website http://amity.edu/placement/ All information regarding companies is provided here. It is solely run by Amity, Noida. Now, how does amity puts careers of several students, studying at other campuses, at stake. Well, they have got several tactics to do it. I will reveal each of their tactics in detail.
It's simple, IT companies have huge vacancies every year. When seventy percent of the students at Amity, Noida are placed they will give chance to students from other campuses. Got it !
But, if you are from Mechanical , civil and electrical and other core engineering branches you wont be having any fair chance to get placed. Since, core companies come up very few vacancies, it's not possible to place all the students. In this case, Amity, Noida gives priority to Amity, Noida students which i think, to a certain extent, is fair. Even then, it couldn't place seventy percent of students in core fields.
But, why campuses at other locations if you are not able invite companies in those campuses? Why all campuses rely on Amity, Noida for placement process? This is big question which is never answered by authorities at Amity.

Well at last i would like you to know me , I am mechanical engineering graduate from Amity. Whatever i have told you is correct to my information and i have lived it. Not able to get placement in core mechanical companies Amity got me recruited in HCL KPO services. I refused the offer and somehow managed to get off campus placement after a long struggle.

- PROJECT VIJAY having a proof under RTI ACT that UGC clearly shows that "AMITY UNIVERSITY UP not Recognised by UGC" PROJECT VIJAY is already complaint to Hon'ble President of India, Hon'ble Governor Uttar Pradesh, Ministry of HRD, University Grant Commission & Chief Secretary Uttar Pradesh.
- Removal of UGC's logo from AMITY UNIVERSITY website after these complaints.

- If you are filling application form and you are satisfying program requirements, you will definitely get a call for written exam and interview though they say that they shortlist application for written test.
- Their admission procedure starts at april every year and continues till july. Wondering ? Actually, they conducts written exams in 4-5 batches so as to ensure they fill maximum seats flouting all regulations and norms set by UGC and AICTE.
- You will find around 150-250 students in a batch of Computer science, IT and EC branches as they are able to place most of the students in these branches and also , you have to shell out more money for studying in these branches as compared to other branches.
- You can choose the campus you wanted to study in while filling application form. Then you are invited to come to your selected campus for written interview and interview.
- Written tests are not at all fairly conducted. They will just have you seated in any order you want so that you can cheat easily as you are their future student.
- Written test is followed by interview which is nothing but a general interview regarding your interests. Generally, senior faculties take interviews.
- After 2-3 weeks they will send you a very fancy call letter citing that you have been selected. They will generally send call letter to every student who appeared in written test and interview.

Now, to prevent students from other campuses to come for recruitment process, ATPC ,deliberately adds information to its official website just few hours before scheduled recruitment process so that students from other Amity Campuses couldn't participate in recruitment process.
- Secondly, they prevent other campus students by clearly mentioning in recruitment process information that only students from Amity, Noida are allowed in the recruitment process.
- Thirdly, their worst move, they will never make you clear the written process. It doesn't matter how have you performed in written test. Many of the batch toppers from other campuses also fail to clear the written process. The only way you can clear the written process is when the written test is conducted online, since its not in their hands.

- If you are planning to take admission in Amity do not take admission in any other Amity university campuses other than Amity, Noida. Only prefer Amity, Noida for taking admission, though you have to shell out more money.
- Only prefer courses like B.Tech(C.S), B.Tech(I.T) and B.Tech(EC) . Never prefer core branches like B.Tech(ME), B.Tech(Civil) and B.Tech(Electrical) since Amity is able to call a good number of IT companies for recruitment whereas this is not true for core engineering branches.
- Please reconsider before taking loan for your studies. Amity charges a whooping fees for its degrees. Please keep worst case scenario in mind while taking loan.
